The company continues its international expansion with new strategically located headquarters in Montego Bay

Jumbo Tours continues with its international expansion plan and announces the opening of a new branch office in Montego Bay, Jamaica, one of the most emblematic tourist destinations in the Caribbean. With this addition, Jumbo Tours strengthens its presence in the region and consolidates its position as a DMC – global incoming reference for major international tour operators.

The new office will allow Jumbo Tours to offer a more personalized, tailored and efficient service to its partners in Jamaica, as well as to expand its network of local products and experiences. From this operational base, coverage will be provided to the entire island, operating from both Montego Bay and Kingston international airports and serving the main hotel areas such as Negril, Montego Bay, Ocho Rios, Lucea, and Rose Hall, among others. In addition, it will offer a wide range of tours and experiences designed to delight travelers, as well as a robust portfolio of specialized products and services for the MICE segment, thus consolidating a comprehensive and high-value proposition for all customer profiles. This move responds to the growing demand for the destination from European and American outbound markets, and to the company’s desire to continue growing in key markets with a high potential for tourism development.

Jamaica represents a strategic opportunity for the growth of our incoming network in the Caribbean,” explains Emilio Rivas, Managing Director of Jumbo Tours. “Montego Bay is a key hub with excellent flight connections and a well-established tourism infrastructure. Our presence will allow us to improve our operations in the destination and guarantee the high-quality standards that characterize us.”

Jònatan Casacuberta, Americas Expansion Director, leads this new deployment in the Caribbean and highlights the importance of Jamaica within the growth roadmap in the Americas:

The (new headquarter) opening in Jamaica represents much more than a geographic expansion: it is the result of intense, strategic and deeply collaborative work among all stakeholders. We are strengthening our firm commitment to the Americas and consolidating a stable structure in the heart of the Caribbean.

None of this would have been possible without the commitment and dedication of my team, with whom I have had the privilege of leading the incorporation of seven new countries in the last three years. This achievement is a collective one and marks a new milestone in Jumbo Tours’ trajectory as a DMC of reference in the region.”

The opening of the new branch in Jamaica adds to the recent openings in Costa Rica and Colombia, reinforcing the group’s strategic presence in the Americas.

With active operations in the United States, Brazil, Argentina, Peru, Mexico, the Dominican Republic, Cuba, Costa Rica, Colombia and now Jamaica, Jumbo Tours is currently present in 10 countries across the continent. This positioning reaffirms its role as the DMC of reference in the Americas, with a diversified offer, regional coverage and a firm commitment to service excellence.
