Jumbo Tours continues with its openings in America following the roadmap established in the strategic plan. This month of June, its two new offices in Buenos Aires and Rio de Janeiro have opened their doors, reinforcing its position as a leading company in the tourism sector. With them, the company will promote the development of DMC activity in the main tourist destinations and cities of both countries, from Tucumán to Patagonia in Argentina, as well as from the Amazon to the Iguazú Falls in Brazil. For this purpose, Gustavo Galera has been placed in charge of these delegations as Business Development Director. He has extensive experience in the sector and has held important management positions in leading tourism companies in Latin America.
JTG will offer its usual portfolio of DMC products: hotels, transfers, excursions and activities, all of which will be available through its online portals Jumbobeds, Jumbonline and JumboTransfers, and through its XML connectivity API.
After the successful opening and start-up of the new branch in the USA last year, Jònatan Casacuberta, America’s Expansion & Managing Director, will once again be responsible for launching these two new destinations: “I am grateful for the Group’s confidence and thus will be able to continue prospecting for new countries to strengthen our presence in the American continent.” Among his responsibilities are the direction of the business and the activity of the current offices in America: USA, Mexico, the Dominican Republic and Cuba.
Ginés Martínez, CEO of Jumbo Tours, affirms that the company is focusing a large part of its efforts on the development of international DMC activity, which began with the company’s transformation process before the pandemic. For the past two years, the company has worked internally to build the product and prepare the teams to make JTG’s expansion into the Americas a success.
