Jumbo Tours continues its expansion
The group appoints Luis Tonicha new Business Development Director for Portugal, an action forming part of the company’s expansion plan in Portugal
Jumbo Tours has appointed Luis Tonicha as its new Business Development Director for Portugal with the aim of developing the Incoming activity in the country, which is a very important destina- tion both for its turnover and for its high customer demand.
This coincides with the opening of new offices in Lisbon and Oporto which allows the company to offer a larger portfolio of ser- vices and a personalised approach to meet its clients’ needs.
By incorporating Tonicha, who has over 30 years’ experience in the tourism sector, ten of them as general manager for the on- line bed bank belonging to the Abreu Travel Group (Grupo de Viajes Abreu), Jumbo Tours continues its development and consolidation in Portugal, one of the main destinations in- cluded in its expansion plans along with Bra- zil, Morocco and France.
