Jumbo Tours participated in FUTURISTICA 2025, the global convention of Alpitour World, which brought together nearly 1,300 professionals at the INALPI Arena in Turin to discuss the current challenges facing the tourism industry and share the strategic vision that will guide its evolution in the coming years. The event solidified its role as a forum for collaborative reflection on innovation, digital transformation, and the essential role of people in a rapidly changing industry.

From the outset, Gabriele Burgio, the President and CEO of the Group, highlighted the importance of human values as the driving force behind the industry’s evolution. He reminded the audience that the progress achieved has been made possible “through determination and teamwork,” emphasizing that the true strength of Alpitour World lies in the people who drive change every day. The convention took place at a particularly significant moment for the Group, which has achieved its best results to date, with all divisions closing in profit. His message set the tone for the day: a future that is not simply anticipated, but one that is collectively created.

The convention was attended by Alpitour World’s management team, who discussed the Group’s evolution in key areas such as international expansion, hotel investments, tour operating development, and digitalization and artificial intelligence projects. It was an event that reinforced the shared vision and strategic cohesion among all the companies that make up the Group.

In this context, Emilio Rivas, Managing Director of Jumbo Tours, focused on the company’s strategic direction. He emphasized that organic growth would be the main focus, driven by expanding the customer base and opening new destinations—two areas he described as the “natural path” for the business’s evolution. Rivas also highlighted the strength of the integration with the Group, a synergy that, as he explained, “was essential to maximize our potential” and is now seen as a key element in moving forward with confidence.

The Managing Director also emphasized the importance of strengthening the company’s presence in strategic markets, with particular focus on Italy, which he described as “one of the most important destinations in the world.” He framed its development as both a challenge and a decisive opportunity for Jumbo Tours’ future growth.

Together with its management team, members from Jumbo Tours Italy, and leaders from various regions, the company actively participated in the different work and networking sessions, strengthening its international role within Alpitour World and reaffirming its commitment to a more innovative, responsible, and connected tourism model.

FUTURISTICA 2025 concluded with a collective call to continue imagining and building the tourism of tomorrow, a process that blends vision, technology, and, above all, the ability of people to transform the present.
