Jumbo Tours announces the acquisition of Yourttoo, a company specialized in the creation, management, and distribution of organized tour circuits. This strategic transaction will enable Jumbo Tours to strengthen and diversify its portfolio as a global DMC, incorporating high value-added services with a high level of operational complexity, and with a clear focus on technological innovation and international expansion. 

Jumbo Tours is part of the Alpitour World,  the leading player in the Italian tourism market and one of the largest tourism groups in Europe. In the current financial yearAlpitour World has achieved record sales and results—the highest in the group’s history—further consolidating its position as an international benchmark in the sector. This acquisition represents a key step in Alpitour World’s confidence in its subsidiary Jumbo Tours, reinforcing its strategic commitment to the development of the DMC business, international expansion, and the construction of a sustainable long-term growth project. 

With this integration, Jumbo Tours expands its product coverage in the Spanish and Latin American markets, strengthening its positioning in key destinations and laying the foundations for a strategy of progressive growth into new source markets. 

Expansion of the portfolio and capabilities 

The acquisition of Yourttoo provides Jumbo Tours with: 

  • A catalogue of more than 3,000 carefully designed international tour circuits. 
  • An ambitious growth plan aiming to reach 4,000 circuits by the end of 2026. 
  • An advanced ecosystem of expertise, technology, product, and connectivity that strengthens the value proposition for clients, tour operators, and travel agencies. 
  • The ability to cross-sell complementary services—such as excursions and additional nights within tour programs—thereby increasing the average value of each transaction and enabling a more personalized travel experience. 

A unique technological and distribution platform in the market 

Yourttoo’s platform is built on a strong network of local DMC partners, selected for the quality of their product and their ability to integrate efficiently into the distribution systems of tour operators and travel agencies. This network not only expands the land product offering but also enables the incorporation of air segments at any stage of the tour, providing a comprehensive, flexible, and scalable solution. 

Additionally, the distribution model includes API-based connectivity solutions that enable direct integration with client and supplier systems, optimizing booking, management, and product customization processes. This technological architecture supports the development of both B2C and B2B white-label solutions, tailored to the commercial needs of each partner. 

International expansion roadmap 

In addition to consolidating its presence in its current markets, the strategic plan envisages that, starting next year, the platform and tour circuit product will be progressively rolled out in the French-speaking, Italian, and Portuguese markets. This expansion will further strengthen the group’s international reach and its ability to serve multiple source markets through a single technological solution.
